Court: Man Charged With Importing Heroin
A man has appeared in court accused of trying to import over $600,000 worth of heroin into Bermuda.
Omar Davy is charged with importing diamorphine into Bermuda on July 10, this year.
The 37-year-old is also charged with having diamorphine in his possession on the same date that was intended for supply.
Mr Davy, a Jamaican national, did not enter pleas to the two charges because they can only be heard in Supreme Court.
He was remanded in custody by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo this morning and will reappear at court on July 16.
